My Most Important Day

I couldn’t sleep last night because about every two hours or so I had to make a run to visit the “john”. For some unknown reason, I began wondering what the most important day of my life would be. After thinking about it for a little while I realized that day would be the day I would die. When that day arrives, all things of any importance would not matter anymore. But I should be ready to go at any moment This means I should have my family and friends and my faith in God on my good standing list. Have my will in place and someone appointed to take charge of my outstanding affairs after I’m gone. When this day comes, there will be no second chance to prepare. For all these preparations to take place, I found a source that would cover off the material things in life, that being legalwills.ca . They are very modestly priced and have several venus to take care of my (and your)needs.

Artwork For A Pastime

I have always been fascinated by interesting artwork done by artists that show you how to draw scenes with character and rapid presentation. I remember watching a fellow from the past when I was a youngster on my folk’s black and white television and thinking how great it would be if I could do that. As the years went by, I lost track of this person until about 60 odd years later I happened to come across an article that had mention of his name. His name is Jon Gnagy and all his drawing finis came back to me. I immediately began looking for information about him and low and behold I found him on you-tube. As I began watching his videos, I thought that maybe there would be others interested in picking up a pencil and paper and try their talents with him. Anyway, here he is, so have fun and learn.

Takin’ Care Of Our Country

When I hear people complaining about things in our Canada not being the way they want it, it reminds me of Merle Haggard’s song that holds very true to our country. This is the 1970 hit song written and sang by Merle Haggard. The song was #1 on the charts for three weeks and was nominated for Song of the Year by the CMA. The song is a warning against those voicing anti-American/Canadian sentiment, which was very prevalent at the time. And, of course, it has on-screen lyrics. Have a listen and see if you agree.

My Viewpoint:

There are a lot of things that I would like to see different but sometimes in a democratic society where we have the right to vote on issues, we have to suck it up and carry on.

Sparks to Sawdust

As of yet we have not succumbed to this god forsaken plaque that is ravishing its way around the globe. I have to admire and thank the people that keep giving of themselves to do the nearly impossible without the resources or a cure for this unknown disease. Perhaps this type of ravage could possibly be compared to a bear hunter heading into the bush with only his bare hands.( “do what you can with what you have”).

Our many thanks to the people doing all the necessary front line duties to keep the earth in motion. Thank you
